Diplomatic Relations
Diplomatic relations between Laos and South Korea were initially established on June 22, 1974, but were severed a year later on July 24, 1975. Relations were re-established on October 25, 1995. Since then, the two countries have developed strong ties, particularly in trade, technology, and cultural exchanges. Key areas of cooperation include economic development, regional security, and cultural exchange.
